DRUG ALERT: Presence of High Potency Synthetic Opioid N-Pyrrolidino Etonitazene found in recent Saskatoon police seizure                                                                   

This advisory is to alert to the presence of a high potency synthetic opioid, known as N-Pyrrolidino Etonitazene in a sample obtained by police in the Saskatoon area and tested in laboratory by Health Canada.  The substance is 10-20 times more potent than fentanyl.  The substance is associated with overdoses or deaths and may represent a threat to anyone handling it without taking the appropriate health and safety precautions.
